Ipod working with ME

Question

My son was so excited to get a new Ipod only to discover that he must have Windows2000 or XP in order to download.  His computer is a Dell computer with ME.  Is there any way around this or must he install Win2000 in order to download to the computer.  He also bought a chip that will tell how far he runs, etc. and that, too, will not work with ME.

It is due to the drivers for the Ipod. Many devices today requires Window 2000 or XP. Unless you can search on the web for drivers that run on ME for his Ipod. Check the documentation that came with the Ipod and read the operating system requirements.
