Key for re-install?

I have my Dell Reinstallation CD for Windows XP Home. If I attempt to reinstall XP, will it ask for a CD key? I can't seem to find a key that pertains to Windows XP, so could someone clear this up for me?

    if it's a dell cd and your installing it on a dell system it will/should not ask for the key code.

    Correct, if you are using the Dell OEM copy you will not need a 25 digit product key

    Usually the key is on the computer. If it is a desktop, check the side or top of the computer for a sticker with the key. For a laptop look at the bottom of the computer.
