Lost menu bar & toolbar in "my documents" and "my computer"
In "my documents" and "my computer" the menu bar and tool bar have vanished. I cannot get anything by right clicking or attempting to drag up-down-left or right. Inspiron 8200 running X. Any clues how to restore or reconfigure these items??

Try this, when the boxes open hit F11 and see if it appears.
If it does click on view/toolbars/ and check the first 2 items.
Let me know how this works.
For the tool bar, put your mouse down where the tool bar is located and look for a double arrow to appear on the curson. Left click and hold it down and try to drag up the bar.
