lost my discs

i have lost my cds to my dell laptop. i have windows me on it and i have to reload windows. i called tech support at dell and they said they coulldnt send me a new disc because they don't have any more. is there somewhere i could download windows me. any help would be appreciated Thanks Brian

There is no place you can download Windows ME as it is a commercial product. You may have to buy a new copy. Steve

Did you ever find your disks? I have Dell recovery (reinstallation) CD - Windows Me sealed never used. Do you know the part number for disk(s) that came with your laptop?
