lost my system factory image restore

A while back my hard drive had a really bad virus and i everything on my hard drive was pretty much toasted,

And well i reformatted the whole drive and well no i don’t have any of my factory image restore setting

And i was wondering if it’s possible to get that back by downloading it from dell or something like that

When i bought my computer i had all those options of fixing using the factory image restore setting now i don’t

Can someone please help?

The Dell PC Restore - recovery partition is not user recoverable - strictly a factory image.   Your only option is installing using discs.   Had you used the Dell PC Restore to restore the PC rather than what you did you would still have everything.  Even with a virus you could have used the Dell recovery as it would reformat the hard drive (and get rid of any viruses).

Hi, Last I hear, dell were not supplying a disc for Win 7, however, no harm in trying. See HERE if you live in the US, if not, ring your local dell support.

No, you would get a Windows 7 disk that you use to install a "clean" OS. You will also get a disk of hardware drivers that will need to be installed. As far as I know Dell does not supply recovery disks with the "factory install", as HP does.
