Macromedia Flash Player 8

I have been having problems with my Dimension 3000 and Flash Player 8. If I try to access some websites, I get a message that I need to get the new version of Macromedia Flash Player 8. I have downloaded it but it won't install completely. I have even removed it completely from my computer and started from scratch (downloading it and installing it). It gets to a certain point in the installation process and I get an error message that says "error 1904.Module." Any ideas? Thanks!

I hav the same problem oso. I installed macromedia 8 a lot of times, everytime i surf a net need activ X or macromedia 8 or flash player to run or see.

Then i go to dell pc checkup http://pccheckup.dellfix.com/rel/?randseed=0.8500148069548955 , then it stated that i need a newer version of macromedia 8, just click on the 'get it' then it will link u to macromedia site.. So i go to the site of macromedia, install everything(just follo the process, it take sometimes in installing), then get ur flash player and activ X avaiable . from that on, i no need to get macromedia and install them everytime a site need them to run or see.

Hope u can try.

I have the same problem, so i went to Macromedia website examined thier forum of post with simaliar problems. They are apperently haveing problems for the last year or so. The flash Payer won't registar or update. Its very frustrating. They(Macromedia) didn't seem to be working very hard to fix the problems either.

I came here to see if a Dell user found a fix for this problem. I thought it might be a Dell computer issue.

I tried the pc check website http://pccheckup.dellfix.com/rel/?randseed=0.8500148069548955 it fixed someminor problems with internet security But flash player 8 still does not work.
