I don't think that's what he means. The F11 key does displays full screen without the toolbar. I think he's talking about small box Windows. When a small window appears instead of a full screen window. Expand the window out on all 4's with the mouse. Next time the Window is opened it will be full screen with the toolbar.
Thanks. I do have that checked. This is the first time I have ever had this problem. This is a new D620 with the widescreen. I wonder if that has anything to do with. I thought it was opening all maximized when I first got it. Maybe not. anyway, The downloaded program, which is very simple and small, has done the job for me. Just don't understand why I needed it.
bicyclebill 1,The links you were given about dragging to full screen then going to file and exiting there may or may not work.Dispite the info you may see about not x'ing out after dragging window to full size, this has always worked for me.On ocassion for some stange reason my windows would start opening minumized all I ever did was drag window to full size then use the x in the upper right of window ,x out and the problem went away!In 4 years on this computer this has only happened 3 or for times.Dont know if this may have anything to do with it go to control panel>folder options>view>make sure remember each folders view is checked.
