McAfee and Netflix Cookies
I have a 4600 running XP. I'm using McAfee for Virus Scan, Firewall and Privacy. I'm a Netflix
subscriber. Netflix has installed a cookie on my system so that when I sign on to Netflix they know who I am and they 'connect' me with my account right away.
Whenever McAfee transmits an update to their software or tables they 'do something' to my Netflix cookie. When I try to sign on to Netflix, they don't recognize me. Netflix just gives me their screen for special offers for joining. I'm assuming it's McAfee...it's happened at least three times after McAfee
updates. I've talked to Netflix and, they can offer ittle advice.
Here's the real strange part....one to two days later, without any intervention, everything works fine once again. Perplexing?
Anyone else experience this? What to do?
