Microsoft .net framework 2.0.

I have the below notice in my High-priority updates to install this update. I was wondering if I really need this update!! I now have service pack 3 installed. I have no problem installing it if needed. I just wonder why it has taken so long to notify me that I needed this update. I remember deleting this a couple of years ago when it came up as an issue and was part of the process to correct.

I install all windows updates without making any exceptions for anything.  I don't think there is any harm in installing it and if it actually does improve security, all the better.  Of course, it goes without saying that I have never had a windows update muck up my computer and make it unbootable or anything exciting like that.  :smileyvery-happy:

Thanks balaji.ramanat-I thought that would be the answer. I have installed the update. I also have never had any problem down loading an update. That's the first time I have ever questioned an high-priority update. I just couldn't see the value for the size of it. I'm very careful on web-sites that I surf.
