then it is too far up when i move the sideways then its too far sideways nothing looks normal now and i
have spent at least 4 hrs doing this all day trying to adjust the monitor in the dell 2400 if any one on here has
one can you click on your menu for me and tell me the resolutions and what they are set at? it was fine
until someone couldnt print a picture straight and thought by moving the monitor all different degrees would
help  well it didnt that is printer problems  not monitor if anyone know what  i am talking about it would be
helpfull just clk on your menu and tell me the configurations so i can set mine like they were when i first brought
it home i know this sounds silly but when i sit here all day moving one way and 2 degrees another way and
4 degrees another way the horizontil and ect...... it just gets tiring   thanks

I believe you could try either of these two things:

1: Go to the Dell Electronics Message Board on this forum and select TV and Monitor and ask your question there (you are more likely to receive help there); or

2: Go to the Technical Support tab, select Manuals, select Display and choose yours.

thank you for your help   i have one more question tho hope i am in the right place
i have a dell 720 inkjet printer and when you go into prefrences how do i use the footers?
how and what do i type i dont have a manual on how to print also wanting to print pictures
that come off the internet but would like them enlarged or larger at least and i dont see a
setting for this thank you

The manual for your printer can be found in the same place as for your monitor, under the Technical Support tab above.

Footers are addressed by application software like Word or Excel.

Printing pictures is most easily done with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.  When you go to print them, it asks what size and how many copies on the page.

thank you for your help i did fix the monitor it took awhile but i did it there really
should be an easy way of doing this  there should be a standard set of
numbers that apply for those who like it the way it came from the factory
but if anyone in the house here touches the monitor again well we wont
say what will happen:smileymad:    just kidding   (well sorta) but thanks again
and the printer it dosent let me enlarge things  (like larger than what is on the net
so i just deal with it thanks again  you are all great on this site hope they pay
you well for doing this cuz you all deserve it.

The printer does NOT control the size of the picture it prints.  As I said, simply open the picture in Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer, then click on Print and choose the size.

Dell pays no one on this site anything unless their name is Dell-_____ as in Dell-Chris or Dell-Ferd or Dell-Henry.
