msn explorer--pages not loading completely-ads are omitted

When i use MSN Explorer, the page never completely loads.  the ads are left blank and a white block is place in their stead with message such as cannot open page or cannot find link.  This also happens when I use Intenret Explorer (blue e), but only when i first go to MSN.com.  It seems that when there are no links to msn.com, i have no problem.  Unfortunately, I cannot abandon using msn.com, so i would like to fix this problem.

I am using xp, with service pack 2.  It seems that i may have caused the problem by trying out some spyware.   the spyware is gone but the problem is here.  i did restore all of the quaratined entries before i deleted the syware.

I have tried to delete intenret explorer and reinstall it.  during the uninstalling process, i get a error message that states, "unable to build list of files to copy to msn explorer. error oem0000102.

help

This is an indication that the spyware cleaner/monitor that you used has not been entirely removed or has left some stray files behind.  Pop up blockers/ad blockers can cause this also.  If the install of the spyware detector was recent, you could do a system restore to a point prior to that.  Also try a file search for the spyware program and see if any files were left behind.  Kip

Could be the HOSTS file was left with some added entries. Try this:

Download Hoster.zip from here. Unzip hoster.zip into it's own folder and run it.

Press 'Restore Original Hosts' and press 'OK'
Exit Program.
