msn messenger
I am running Windows xp pro sp2. When I click to open Msn Messenger version 7.5, it doesn't open. The icon just goes to the taskbar and I can't right-click it or anything. But when I open the original messenger version 4.7 via my keyboard, start menu, or internet toolbar it opens and runs fine. What could the problem be?

Try downloading the new version of MSN Messenger and reload it and see if that helps.

hi, Ive been trying to use MSN Messenger 7.5 since the beginning of the new year and so far been unable too. Version 6 was fine on my laptop but since I've upgraded I've a) had problems with my wireless internet connection - it seems to keep knocking the router out so it needs resetting and b) been totally unable to use version 7.5 and only the very old 4.7 (?) I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and that doesn't work. When the troubleshoot comes up it mentions something about firewall I've even tried turning it off to see and it still won't work. Anyone got any ideas as to the problem
