Hi Tezz24,

As the system is not booting into Windows, you can try to repair the computer from the Operating system disk. As you have mentioned that you have the Windows 8 operating system disks, please follow the steps to repair your computer:

  1. Insert the operating system disk in the optical drive.
  2. Restart the system by tapping F12 at Dell logo. Select Boot your computer from the CD/DVD and press Enter.
  3. In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  4. Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
  5. Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Automatic Repair’ and select the operating system.

Startup Repair will automatically find problems with your computer and try to repair it. Once it’s finished, restart your computer and check the functionality of the system.

Please post the results.
