NEC ND-6100A driver

Question

I had to do a complete wipe of my hard drive recently due to a barrage of viruses. I reinstalled everything on the CDs, but Ive found out there is no Power DVD, nor is there any decoder software for the drive, let alone drivers. Is there anywhere I can find out where these items are?

The VLC player doesn't work. Its a Dell Inspiron 510m with a NEC ND-6100A. WMP keeps saying that it doesnt have a decoder, but it can write blank DVD discs fine.

It didn't come with one unfortunately. Is there any way I can get a free version of PowerDVD? I have another Dell computer (desktop: Optiplex GX620) and that didn't come with one either.
