Nero and Roxio conflict?

The only conflict will be the InCd or the DLA (or Drag to Disc) whichever is installed.  You can only have one packet writing program or there can be conflicts. 

 

I have Nero 7 Ultra installed and also Roxio (and the Roxio Drag to Disc).  I installed all the Nero modules EXCEPT InCd and I have no conflicts.

Thanks. Would be ideal if i could keep both. Roxio may be of use.....

Presumably i coul load all of nero,incl incd so long as I delete roxio drag to disc?

Or would it be safer just not to install incd?

Not sure what these progs are used for and what impact not installing incd may have on Nero.

 

Further feedback/advice would be appreciated.

I personally do not use the packet writing programs as they are the least reliable.  I don't "drag files to the disc to be copied".  If I want to put files on a CD (or DVD) I use the "make a data disc" and only use CD-R's, not RW media. 

 

If you have DLA on the PC, I'd uninstall it and if you want a packet writing program install the Nero InCD.  DLA has tended to cause some problems, judging from posts on here.

I did the same thing. When I was using the Dell Roxio software I un-installed DLA. I upgraded to Roxio EMC 9 Deluxe and un-installed drag-to-disc and have had no issues.

If i were to go down route of uninstalling Roxio and loading nero including InCD, I believe that there is prgram called roxio zap that ensures all traces of roxio are cleared. Is this program ok to use on Vista?
