net waiting not working

I've just changed my ISP, and had the wonderful surprise of net waiting "ring" through while I was online. Yet, when the net waiting screen pops up, the "accept call" icon is gray. The outgoing call icon mentioned in the help section is nowhere to be found and I'm also missing the "disable immediate actions" option.

Now, let me add this. When I first got my computer and saw the net waiting option, I got all excited. I could never get a ring, though. Then I found out my ISP didn't support v.92. So, after this news, I signed up for CALLWAVE.

As for my new ISP, I don't know if they have v.92 technology, but it stands to reason if I'm getting a ring through while I'm online, right? The person who called earlier said they heard about 5 or 6 rings before they hung up. And, their number did not pop up. I could only see a partial number, 1-877 something. (Maybe that's the callwave number?) I found out who called by dialing *69.

I hope you guys can help. Do I need to cancel callwave? (Presently, callwave is disabled.) How do I get the missing icons and options to show? (They are, at the moment, nonexistent.)

Waiting in Willacoochee...

If I remember correctly, its not turned on automatically, you have to do something to enable it.  Since I dont have that type modem, you might post your question in the modem forum.  I believe I have seen your same type question posted before over there.  Kip
