NetSupport Conflict with Remote Desktop (Black or Blank Screen Effect)
There have been some instances of connecting to PC’s with DNA Console where the screen is blank or black, this is because of the conflict between the Remote Desktop, which there are 2 versions. One is the RD via Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Remote Desktop (this is the version which has the problem), the other resides via the Administrative Tools.
To correct the problem first run the admin.pak (Netsupport DNA Console must be closed first), this will remove the previous RD (Remote Desktop) function. Then re-run the Adminpak.msi (can be found at either the Microsoft site or in Windows 2003 server CD), install gpmc.msi as well. Once this is installed run this from Start -> Run command regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll.
Start using the remote desktop in Active Directory
