New BIOS for DXP061

What system do you have... Not sure what systems were afected by a BIOS update if i ain't wrong there were Dimension E521 & C521 where on the forums reported those BIOS update created no post on some systems.

I updated to latest BIOS on a E520 (DM061)with no problems

I think you should have a XPS 410...

There were some problems april, as far as now, not sure if the problem was resolved. It will be better to have some one here with the XPS410 and that BIOS already installed.

I didn't noticed that, if there a new one, it should be because it's the fixed one... Depending on what people needs they may get the BIOS update then...

Updated to 1.1.10 last nite, no problems to report.

That link you posted is the previous BIOS update for the XPS410. The new one posted by ChrisM of Dell is for v2.5.0.

I haven't updated my BIOS on my XPS410 because there's nothing in it that I need.

Updated my XPS 410 with the DXP061 update to Bios 2.5.0 without any problems. What it does is to provide support for OCUR or Open Cable Unidirectional Receiver which cable companies will be rolling out over the next several months to customers. This will provide cable card HDTV support to enable individuals to view and record television broadcasts.
