No Xbox 360 connectivity on MCE 2004

For any of you with or planning on getting an Xbox 360 and have Media Center Edition 2004, be aware that it does not support the Media Center Connectivity, only MCE2005. It does support Windows Media Connect, but any XP machine does. Why mention it? Because Dell refuses to upgrade MCE 2004 users even though other companies (Sony, HP, etc) will do so. Thanks to Dell we're stuck in the stone age.


(yes, i'm aware that i can get an MCE 2005 oem, but i shouldnt have to, my manufactured should support the upgrade, for which i have made hardware upgrades which would have prevented their support of such an upgrade)
