Thanks, do you know what the latest version of Ghost is, because according to Ghosts properties on my computer I have: Symantec\Norton Ghost 2003\nswigho.nsi
which sounds like it should be the latest version...
Open Norton Ghost 2003.
Click Help > About Norton Ghost. This step displays the version number and build number of Ghost.
Verify that the version and build number are "Norton Ghost 2003.789" and "Build 789."
Eurika! I figured out what was wrong, or so I think...when i tried to clone my hard drive, I had it hooked up via a firewire pcmia card, now in dos, the card does not appear to be getting power, it doesn't have the little red light on it, on. So my question is can i somehow get it to be powered during dos and. I know I have a 6 to 4 pin firewire cable somewhere that i can use to hook it up to the firewire port actually on the machine, but cannot seem to locate it yet...
One other question, when I clone my existing hard drive, will it erase everything that's already on the disk receiving the data? Because one of the suggested programs told me that it (meaning that program) would do this, and i have many programs and data on there that I don't want erased...any suggestions if it will erase everything though?
