Old Man-New'Puter-New OS-Lost...Help !

I just put this new PC on line last weekend. My First Dell...My First XP OS. I'm kinda lost & I think it's because of the Firewalls. I Un-installed Norton & went with the Program I was used to. I can't get into Yahoo Chat, Can't view the cams if I manage to get into it. Any Ideas out there....I think I show 5 or 6 Firewalls, & I think that's causing the problems. Any Ideas, anyone ? THANKS
