Operating system to restore back to factory setting
I tap F8 or F12 to restore my operating system back to the factory setting and it appears there are no options for that for either one. Can anyone help. I have a Window XP, Diminsion C521.

Was your system delivered with Windows XP? If so, and your factory restore feature is active, you should see a blue stripe at the top of the screen just before Windows begins to load. Press CTRL and F11 at the same time while the blue stripe is visible; release both keys simultaneously before you see an announcement beneath the stripe that the descriptor for PBR2 is being loaded. The stripe is visible for only two seconds, so you must pay attention.
