Outlook Express 6.0 - Change "From" line
I have searched this forum and found several replies to this same problem. However, none of them worked for me. I'm using a Dell 3000, OE 6.0 and Win XP. When I open OE and go to Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>General tab, (highlight the current ISP address), my name is correct as shown.
Then when I go back to try to send or forward something, the "from" line always shows my e-mail address. I also found a suggestion to go to Tools>Accounts>Personal tab..........well, I don't have a "personal tab". I have searched MS site and help in OE and can not find a solution.
Can anyone help?

I wrote a program (Beta) to change your OE settings but if you're not familiar with the registry I highly recommend not playing with it. If you do decide to try it, I am not responsible for any mistakes or adverse effects. You MUST download BOTH programs below. One is the 'OEchange' program and the other is the 'OErestore' program. If you do decide to run it, run the 'change' program and do not make any changes the first time thru (just OK it). The problem you're having should be on the second popup in OEchange.
Post back with the results and further instructions.
