"Page cannot be displayed" message

I am constantly getting this message and must click the send or refresh buttons on Internet Explorer to access pretty much all web sites.  The internet connection is fine, and I've run Spyware, deleted temp files, and cookies.  The problem continues.  It's also being compounded by a "Missing or corrupt Windows system32" message every time I reboot the computer.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi:

You should post the exact error message you are seeing. Also your PC model, and operating system.
There are many error messages similar to yours invoving different files.

I'm using an Inspiron 600m running Windows XP and Office Professional.  The system 32 message has not reappeared in the last 3 reboots.  The computer is taking over 4 minutes to boot up Windows (it did it in 45 seconds just 2 weeks ago).  Perhaps this came about after a Windows automatic update, but I can't be sure.
