Paint and Games disappeared ???
Somehow, Microsoft Paint and the Games that come standard with the OS have disappeared from my PC? Any idea how the heck I might have done this?

They are probably still there, just the shortcut in Start/Programs is probably missing. There are several ways of restoring that but the easiest is to do a System Restore to a date/time before you had the problem.
To access System Restore, Click Start, then Click Run. Enter msconfig and then Click OK. When the panel comes up, click on the "Launch System Restore" button and follow the instructions to restore the PC.

You only risk losing applications (including Windows Updates) which have been installed since the restore point was created. Documents are not affected.
