Photoshop installed on my computer ?

When I got my Dimension 4700 I am sure it came with Photoshop Elements pre-installed, I remember seeing the shortcut on my desktop. But being a bit stupid, I installed a borrowed copy of Photoshop 7 and have been using that.

Recently my computer freaked out and all the software had to be re-installed and now I can't find Photoshop Elements anywhere. I am wondering if it may be on one of the CDs that came with the computer and maybe I can load it on. (otherwise I'll buy it)

Thanks, Ian

Love my computer otherwise!

Applications software, such as the Photoshop Elements, are usually not downloadable from Dell.  If it's not on the Dell downloads for your PC model or one of the recovery CD's you will have to purchase the program.

HERE is the Downloads for the 4700 and that program is not listed.

You very likely had copy of Adobe photo editing, a teaser program.  You should find it on your recovery CD.  I doubt you had photoshop elements.

The recovery CD that has the trial software such as that would be labeled as the Dell Applications CD, the others being the Dell Resource (aka Drivers and Utilities) CD, and the Dell Operating System Reinstallation (aka Windows) CD.
