Please help....I just see a blank page!

Question

Hi....I have a problem....when I'm on the internet and I try to open an external link ( like when you try to watch a video trailer or somenthing like that) it simple doesn't open it!! it shows only a blank page; another example of it is when someone send me a pic a a try to open it it won't let me do it! I did purchase Registry Mechanic thinking this could've solved the problem but I was wrong! Please help!   Thank You!

Sounds like a browser problem to me. Could be a result of adware/spyware screwing with your system, so check into that (do a virus scan).   You could try this: Go to Tools/Internet Options (if you use IE) and check to make sure your security and privacy settings are set to medium. You could also try using system restore. Perhaps you don't have the proper player installed.  What kind of file are you trying to play?  You may need to install Quicktime or some other player.  Windows Media Player does not play all formats.

I think it has to be some kind of file type association problem.  Sorry, but I don't know what else to tell you.  You refer to an external link but I'm just not clear on that either as you say it's all links.  But what kind of links?  Pictures, other web pages, movies, ????
