power on 24/7
My Dell in one state, I out of state where they disagree with power on 24/7, single home use computer. Who can support 24/7 on? jjayyy

It makes no difference to the computer (see this, so the only consideration is power conservation. Both of my systems are on 24/7 with the monitor off and hard drive powered down after an hour of inactivity.
