Problem botting up WIndows
Hello, my computer is a couple years old and have no problems. Currently, when i try to boot up my computer, after the dell information screens, when windows should load i instead am greeted with a blank screen and I cannot load windows. I think the problem may have been caused by me installing a XP styles program which allowed me to change the boot screen into something more fun. How can I fix this problem?

Boot from XP CD. Press Enter (not R) at first screen. XP user license should appear. Accept the license and press R at next screen for repair/reinstall. Then get firewall and antiviral software running and go directly to MS site for all the updates. Don't surf or read email until the updates are done or you'll get hit with lots of malware.

Disconnect all USB devices except mouse and keyboard. Try booting normally again. If that doesn't work, look at 4 LEDs on rear of tower. If not all green, look up error code in user manual, and post here.
