Problem with Dellnet by MSN

I just hooked up my new Dell & can't get to the Net on it because when I click on the IE Icon it opens a box that says "Please click on the Dellnet by MSN Icon". Well, I click on it & it tells me that I'm trying to install an outdated version of MSN Explorer. I don't even care about MSN Explorer. I just want plain IE to go with my DSL. How can I re-associate my IE Icon with plain IE, instead of the stupid box coming up? I right clicked the icon & the target is C"\Windows\InternetExplorer\IE6.exe. Any ideas?

I have cable internet service and experience a similar problem with MSN. Finally I uninstalled and deleted everything that I could find that had any association with MSN. That did it for me. Now IE6 is the only thing I get when I click on the IE Icon......

I spent over four hours with the technical support engineers this afternoon trying to resolve my DellNet inability to sign in. Still unresolved at the moment. Worked with Dan, Cathy, Liz, Ceri, Sal and Sally. Well, I have had about enough. Would you suggest chucking DellNet? I only use this for email currently. I can still connect to the internet via my cable high speed access (RoadRunner). From there, I can get my mail using the www.hotmail.com avenue. Don't seem to like the Hotmail version over the Dellnet though. Not as easy to use and manage. Been thinking about chucking them all-together and using the RoadRunner mail.
What do you think?

If so. I chucked everything except Roadrunner and use IE6 And OE6 for my primary Email account with Roadrunner...... can also check Hotmail/Yahoo, whatever using Roadrunner......

No more MSN for me................Uninstalled MSN and deleted all MSN related files that I found on my system......
