Problem with Vista and Sending Email / Computer Shuts down

I just purchased this Dell Inspirion 1720.  My wifes email account is accessed thru a work website.
After getting nowhere with Dell Tech Help,  when she goes to send an email, the computer automatically restarts.
We have been on the phone 3-4 times with Dell.  They are worthless.
Can anyone help me before I have to return this computer.
She uses Outlook Web access for the email and we have Vista as our operating system
Thanks.

More info for you:
The error message says " Internet Explorer is shutting down due to an error"
Any ideas? Thanks

Dell knows nothing about your wife's email system so it is not surprising that they can't help.  Why would you even ask them?

Your wife should take it to work and ask them to help configure it.

If you have Vista Home Premium or Basic you cannot connect to a server based network. You need the Business version of Vista for that or Vista Ultimate. Search the Internet for Outlook Web Access + Vista and you'll get hits like this: http://www.appscout.com/2007/02/vista_breaks_outlook_web_acces.php
