putting custom colour on the pallet

Hello all. Our small business uses a custom colour for various documents, etc. Whenever we want to use it, we have to go into custom colours and enter the colour numbers. Is there a way to add this custom colour to the normal pallet so we can simply click on the colour we want? Appreciate any help.

Are you refereing to background colors or color schemes?

If back ground when you open the color pallate where you define the colors you can choose to add them to the custom colors box. Windows will let you define 16 custom colors

Thank you both for the response. We're operating with a server and two PCs, one on Vista, the other on XP. The custom colour I'm referring to is the text font colour.

In Vista, when choosing a font colour, it shows recently used, which is great for me, but is there a way to do a similar thing with XP?

How does one go about adding a particular colour to the 16 in the general pallet?

Thanks again,

Julie
