Hello, I have recently bought factory sealed xps gen 2 with windows home on the ebay, however, I wanted to install the microsoft windows xp media center edition,  are there anyway I can get the mce installed on my computer?

I don't think they will do an even swap, if that's what you're asking. You might try reselling the XP software on eBay (higher price if it's still in a sealed package) and look around for a good price on Media Center.

Your only option will be to buy the software and do a clean install.

You can buy MCE 2005 here  It would be wise to look over the compatible hardware first.   wrs
