Re-installing XP over existing XP Home
From a newspaper "computer expert", he says you can re-install XP over your existing XP to recover some missing or corrupted files. I always wondered where the original files went if you did re-install over the old one. What say you?

this is also called repairing, it just copys a set of new reg files, not all your files, it has no bearing on your personal files.
