RecordNow.exe unable to locate component

Most recently my DIM3000 Windows XP is unable to allow me to burn a CD.  The RecordNow error prompt states that "RecordNow.exe is unable to locate component. PX.dII was not found - reinstalling this application may fix this".  This application was bundled on the PC when I purchased it and I have no disk to reinstall with. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do a system restore and pick a restore point before this problem occurred.
 

1. Click Start.

2. Point to All Programs.

3. Point to Accessories.

4. Point to System Tools.

5. Click System Restore.

6. Follow the instructions on the wizard.

When I do a system restore all I get is the, "Unable to restore, there have been no changes to you system". I have tried several times, even tried to restore back to the earliest settings it would allow.

Did you get a set of Dell Cd's with that computer? Check to see if one of them has the Roxio program on it.
 
IF not call Dell support and request the Application CD for Roxio, and any others you need.
