Recovering Deleted User Account??
A few weeks back, I deleted a user account by accident (by selecting the wrong one) and would like to recover it... Also, when it deleted the account, it asked whether I would like to save the files from the account onto another existing account, which I accepted (thinking it was the one I meant to delete)... When I realised that I deleted the wrong account, I did not panic as I thought the files were saved under the user name as stated, but when I looked into the folder, it was empty.... I am panicking majorly now as a lot of family photos, memories, work and other important things were saved on that account, and that account only...
Can anyone PLEASEEE help me, I am desperate.
Kind Regards.

Hi AbbiMc,
Perhaps I would have also felt the same way had I been in your place. Don't panic, we can try few steps to recover the deleted files, but I am unsure if they can be recovered. I really hope this works.
1. Check all 'hidden files and folders' in the control panel.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Show-hidden-files
2. Check if the files can be located using the path : C:\Documents and Settings\userid\Local Settings\Application Data\
3. Check this link which has more information on how to recover files from deleted user accounts: bit.ly/QkTXjh
4. You could also use recovery tool like Recuva which can be downloaded off the internet for free.
Please reply if you have any further questions.
