recovery partition lost after use?
Hello.
I had to recover my windows 7 back to the original factory settings on a inspiron 580.
Before i could see the recovery partition on my harddrive, after the recovery I don't.
Does this mean the recovery partition is lost, or is it somewhere hidden?

The recovery partiton is not lost when you do a restore using the recovery partiton. However, if you use discs to reinstall then the recovery partition is no longer valid.
However if something has happened to it and it's no longer accessable or useable, you will have to use discs in the future.
