Reformatting HD

Question

When you re install windows and you have to format your HD, Should you choose NTFS full or NTFS quick?

Is this a new HD? If it is, the quick format should be fine.

OK, I just wanted to be sure you got the correct information. Several posters have provided answers, but nothing to backup what they are talking about. I will always post with links to something in which the user can decide what course of actions is best suited for them. If I sounded rough, sorry about that. Did not mean to offend anyone.

if you're sure that your hdd is working fine, you can choose ntfs quick, if not, better choose the plain ntfs
