Reinstall Sonic MyDVD 6
Sonic MyDVD was pre-installed on my Inspiron 6400 laptop. I have recently re-installed the operating system (Windows XP SP3) on a new hard disk and reinstalled as much of the other software as I could but I can't find a way to reinstall MyDVD (I don't have a reinstallation medium). All the files seem to be present in "Program Files" but when I try to run the program from "Start > Run" it says file "px.dll" is missing.
How can I reinstall MyDVD?
regards,
Robert Graham

Robert Graham,
Go to My Dell Downloads :: Login, use the email address and password you use here. Click on add system. The software is there to download and install.

Sounds good in theory; I logged in and was prompted to "Register my system". Then it said "Examining your computer please wait..." So I waited... and I waited... and I waited....I'm still waiting!
Any suggestions please?

Robert Graham,
I forgot, were you using Internet Explorer? That website work with Internet Explorer because of the ActiveX.
Try reading the My Dell Downloads :: FAQ If the system is older, if in the United States, Request Backup Disks USA If in another Country call Dell Tech Support for the disks.

I'm using Internet Explorer 8/Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

Robert Graham,
I remembered your system might not work there. You'll need to request the disks or call the Dell Tech Support in your Country.
