Restore not working?

Question

I just reinstalled Windows XP SP2 My Restore was not working before, after a clean reinstall my Restore is still not working any suggestions?

Can you be more specific than 'not working'. Error messages? Is it turned on? Are any restore points set...? Ron

Sure, the restore points are set, it has check point each day  and I had date set, tired to restore back to 11-24-06 it shoots across the restore screen and I get no message of restore!?

what makes you think that it is not working? if you want to test it, create a new restore point and then run system restore to that newly created restore point..   system restore does not create new restore points every 24 hours the way that MS says that it is supposed to..   also, sometimes you cannot restore the computer to restore points that were created before some changes were made to the computer, like maybe after some windows updates..

I allready tested it bofore I posted. I reduced the disk space from 12% to 10% and now it works. Thanks
