Roxio Creator DE9 - Trial Only 4 Days???

I have only had my 640m for less than a week.  Attempted to use Roxio MyDVD DE9.  Window popped up, and stated, "The trial version of this product has expired."    I thought I paid for this thing?  On my purchase order, it states, ....

1 420-6464 Roxio Creator Basic

There is no mention trial.  Why is program not working ?

You "paid for it" but only as part of the basic PC package, not as an "optional at extra cost" item.

However, try reinstalling it from the back CD's and see if that takes care of it.  I had the same problem with the full retail version of Roxio and reinstalling over the existing install fixed that one.

Thanks for the reply.

Searched the box my laptop came in, and did not find a Roxio install CD.   Could it be part of some other install CD?

My 640m  came with Vista Basic pre installed.

I had to "chat" online with Dell to get mine.  That was last Friday night. Got it Wed.  They shipped it Tuesday.

But I got same message about MyDVDle so I have removed it. MS MP11 is much better anyway.

I had the same experience with my new XPS M1710 but the strange thing is I received a roxio creator and MyDVD 9.0 DE CDROM and when I installed it upgraded every program and I can use it.
