Roxio Creator Home starts only when Computer is online

Question

Hello Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 (also called EMC9, Roxio Creator Home or Roxio Creator DE) starts only when Computer is online (doesnt matter if cable or wireless). The program has already been installed when I buyed my new Laptop Dell Inspiron 6400 with Windows Vista. Roxio Support says, that this occurs only with oem products so they won't help me. Can you help me? Thanks a lot!

Roxio Creator DE is an OEM cut down version, not the same as Roxio EMC 9.   It may be trying to check for updates on start. You should be able to turn that off in the options.

Thanks a lot! I already tried to turn off 'online-options', but it still doesn't work.
