Run Option in Start Menu is not there

How do i get the Run option in start Menu?

Go to all programs then accessories it is there.

You have VISTA so all you need to do is click the START globe,

type RUN and it should appear at the top of the pane.  If it's the first one, all you need to do is hit enter.

 

So click START, type RUN, hit enter....

 

There is no option it would appear to allow you to pin it to the start menu.  If you go under Accessories as pointed out above, you can create a shortcut for the desktop.  But it will not allow you to pin it to the start menu, so the best option if you wish to use it would be what I listed.

Right click the Start Button at the bottom left of your Desktop Screen

Select Properties

Start Menu Tab

Customize Button

Scroll Down and place a checkmark next to Run command

Thanks.   You learn something new everyday.  I didn't know that.  I used to click start, type run and hit enter.   But now I know how to put it in the start menu.  Thanks.
