Screensaver

Hi.  There is a download for XP users to get the Vista Bubbles screensaver.  Does anyone know about this and how it works?  I download it but can't get it to stay in my Display panel under screensavers.  It doesn't seem to stay in there.  Does anyone know how to get this Vista screensaver to stay in the CP in our display?  Thanks.

Make sure that you have downloaded and extracted the file in c:\windows\system32 . Once confirmed click on the link down below . Its a registry fix that will deal with the issue .  The same has been confirmed by Stephen Coy , the author of this screensaver.

Hi, me again.  I did download it and extracted it into my C:\windows\system32, all of the ones I wanted and then I clicked on that link you gave but when I go into my CP Display they are still not in there.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong, please explain.  Thanks again.

Hi FishandChips.  I really am not that familiar with the computer so I really don't understand what to do to get those Vista screensavers to stay in the display of the Control Panel.  I like the bubbles one, its my favorite and if I click on the install it will go into my CP in the Display but then disappears later on so I have to keep going and finding it and installing it in order to get it to work.  Please explain to me step by step what to do or how to do it so that these screensavers stay in my Display in CP so I don't have to keep downloading it.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi fishandchips.  Did you read my other two posts?  I liked the original bubbles that had big colorful bubbles with your desktop in the background but can't get that back, I have the bubbles with the black background.  I did everything you said and still can't get anything to go into my Display in my Control Panel.  Can you try to explain step by step what I should do, maybe I'm not doing something right.  I'm not all that familiar with computers.  I just bought a Dell Inspirion 530S with windows XP Professional.  I want the original bubbles back now, help me.  Thanks.

Hi again.  Just to let everyone know someone gave me the download page for the FlowBubbles which is exactly like the original bubbles from Vista except you can change settings on this one and it's must cooler, you can add pictures inside the bubble and change the shapes.  I like this one a whole lot better and am glad someone told me about it.  I had so much trouble with the Vista screensavers, they weren't installing in my Display and the bubbles one had a black background which I didn't like either, I like the old one but couldn't get it back.  Just thought I'd let everyone know this, thanks anyways.
