Although this isn't a big issue, I'm a little miffed that Microsoft let this remain and haven't rolled the new version on browser.dll into Windows MCE 2005. My dll is versioned: 5.1.2600.2180 and dated august 2004.
Has anyone got the updated dll? MS seem to say contact your PC supplier but I can't find anything on here other than this - no download to be found.
Spose it's a bit of embedded coersion to use MS solutions rather than external ones, but who's to say every single Windows PC needs a firewall in the first place?! It's only an annoyance - I like to keep my logged events clean so real problems stand out.
