service tag/expess service code invalid/not recognized
i have been round and round trying to register my dell ispiron537 home desktop/windows 7. called dell the last 3 weeks to be hung up on/switched to others/put on hold/ anything you can guess, go for online help unless you put in a recognizable service tag you cant get in. going to the community for dell i see several with the problem. i got this at walmart here in galveston, i have talked to several peeps at dell on the phone that promised this would be resolved, so far it hasnt, i dont know if i can take it back to walmart now or not but i like this pc and would rather fix the problemo. put in my service code at dell.com, says invalid, put it in another dell place says my pc was not bought in this country. so someone suggests ,, transfer but you cant trasfer unless its usa to usa. mex-mex, etc,, can anyone suggest how to resolve this,=. i have went thru the community and never really saw a solution. HELP!!

well some chump named toso2 or something like that deleted my post , why dont you try helping people rather than pushing dells problems everyones having with them, i see a lot of people that have the same problems with your stuff! ban me from dell community,, Aahhh i feel like im back in kinnygarten , GIMME A BREAK YOUNG BOY! big computer wiz, guess what, i belive dell has simply got too big for thier britches! try helping someone for a change AND about your phone support, what a joke!!

thanks for the info. i sent email and gave all my info . early this morning but have yet to hear from anyone. is this a fairly common problem? my service tag, express service coade, order # on box all say invaild, pc was purchased outside usa?? in my systeym info. bios the service tag does match the tag on the desktop. i have contacted walmart, district manager, and customer service online and havent heard a thing yet, something smells fishy to me. i know walmart didnt buy just this one with the problem , im sure they got a lot, and suerly more will have the same trouble, most probably blow it off , im not,, i dont think its dells fault, im looking at walmart but trying to get dell to figure it out, im not a computer wiz, just a poor boy trying to use and register a home pc,, thanks again, jj
