SOLVED!!!How can I remove "read-only" from my photos?
I've made sure I was logged in as admin and tried to change them in Windows Explorer (properties, uncheck the "read-only", etc...) but it does not work. I don't know what to do. I need to back up my photos and get them on a cd, but I can't because they are read-only. They won't even let me open them in any of my photo programs, though (so are they "really" read-only if I can't view them?
Someone please help me! I know I should have backed up/saved them elsewhere already...I've kicked myself every day for not doing that before this happened, but I procrastinated and now I'm desparate. All of my photos of my daughter are on there...please help me.
Update in last post!!!
