Spam Killer Software

Regarding McAfee Spam Killer:

McAfee support finally responded to my E-Mail request for support of their Spam Killer. They say that in Outlook Express they check my mail before Outlook Express  does. That means that I don't see my mail until the next time I connect to Outlook Express. This means that in order to receive E-Mail I must open Outlook Express two times.Spam Killer works directly with my IN BOX at the E-Mail server. McAfee says that I must switch off automatic checking in my email program.I am instructed to: UNCHECK SEND AND RECEIVE MESSAGES AT STARTUP AND UNCHECK  CHECK FOR NEW MAIL EVERY.....MINUTES.

Any thoughts on this. It appears very inefficient to open Outlook Express twice. I am tempted to disable Spam Killer permanently.
