Spybot Question

Hello,

I have XP home sp1a and have all critical updates installed. Spybot is a powerful tool, and need to be certain of things pertaining to it.

I recently installed and ran spybot. It returned the following. Can I safely remove any of these with out causing a problem in Windows.  Do I need to retain any of these.  Thanks..........

IIRC, I encountered those same files when I ran Spybot for the first time.  I too was a bit nervous about letting Spybot delete them, but decided to go ahead and allow it.  That was 7 weeks ago, and my computer seems to be working just fine.

If Spybot recommends removal by assigning a check mark to them at the conclusion of a scan, then they are safe to remove.

If you are uncertain, Spybot allows you to create a backup file of each item removed.  I have used this program for several years without any trouble.
