Stack overflow at line: 0

Hello, can someone help me with a solution to an error message "Windows Internet Explorer - Stack overflow at line: 0". I have a brand new Dell XPS Desktop with Windows Vista and since some days I receive this messages which is slowing enormously the work of the computer (CPU at 60%). Please advise what to do.

Bilyana,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

You can try these steps to see if they will resolve the error.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

Thank you DELL-Jesse_L. Unfortunately, I have already checked that. The Desable script debugging box is checked and the Display a notification about every script error is unchecked. However, the CPU keeps to be too high (60%) with no programs open. Do you think reinstallation of Windows is the only solution?

Bilyana,

If this is happening with all sites you open in IE then, you may just want to reinstall Internet Explorer. Reinstalling the OS would be the last thing to do.
